Hilti CP 611A Firestop Intumescent Sealant is a high-adhesion, water-based acrylic sealant designed to maintain fire resistance in service penetrations. The sealant expands when exposed to fire, sealing openings and preventing the spread of fire, smoke, and hot gases. It is capable of achieving fire ratings of up to 2 hours when installed as part of approved systems.
Applications • Cable and cable bundle penetrations • Electrical conduits and service penetrations • Plastic pipes (PE-X, PP-R, PE-RT/AL/PE-RT) for water and gas • Suitable for concrete, masonry, plasterboard, and prefabricated wall systems
