3. Order Processing & Shipping

We are committed to providing fast, reliable delivery across Australia.

3.1 Order Processing Timeframes

• All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
• Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.
• Once dispatched, you will receive confirmation and tracking details (where applicable).

3.2 Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times

We utilise trusted national freight and courier providers. The following are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays or unforeseen circumstances:

• Sydney Metro: 1–2 business days
• NSW Regional: 2–4 business days
• Interstate Metro (VIC, QLD, ACT, SA): 2–5 business days
• WA, NT & Remote Areas: 5–10 business days

3.3 Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, and delivery location. For bulk orders or pallet deliveries, custom freight pricing may apply. Please contact us directly for a quotation.

3.4 Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available from our Sydney warehouse by prior arrangement. You will be notified when your order is ready for collection.

3.5 Delivery Restrictions & Liability

• We currently ship within Australia only.
• Certain oversized or hazardous items may require special handling and extended delivery times.
• Authority to Leave (ATL): If you provide ATL, goods will be left at the delivery address without a signature. Advocate Industrial is not responsible for lost or stolen items once delivery has been completed under ATL instructions.
• Delays: While we aim to meet all timeframes, Advocate Industrial is not liable for delays caused by courier/freight provider issues, weather events, or supply chain disruptions.
  

4. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

4.1 Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Goods

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. Any damaged, incorrect, or missing items must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.

• Claims can be submitted via phone (1300 309 770) or email (sales@advocateindustrial.com).
• We may request supporting photos of the product/packaging and your order/invoice number.
• Once approved, we will arrange a replacement, refund, or credit where applicable.

4.2 Change of Mind Returns

Returns for change of mind are accepted within 14 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

• Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.
• A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply.
• Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer.

4.3 Non-Returnable Items & Compliance Notice

Due to the strict nature of passive fire protection products, the following items cannot be returned:

• Custom or made-to-order products.
• Special order items not normally stocked.
• Compliance Restriction: Opened or used fire protection products, or items that have been installed, altered, or exposed to site conditions, are not eligible for return. This is because exposure and tampering can affect compliance with Australian Standards and certification requirements.

4.4 Return & Refund Process

To initiate a return, contact us at 1300 309 770 or via email at sales@advocateindustrial.com with your order number, description of the issue, and photos if applicable.

• Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned goods.
• Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
• Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If unavailable, a refund or store credit will be issued.

5. Website Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use

• All content on this Site, including text, logos, graphics, images, and product descriptions, is the property of ADVOCATE INDUSTRIAL PTY LTD and is protected by Australian copyright laws.
